SOLAR - Delphine Friquet

Beauty becomes their spectacle: that of the Dancer, that of the Musician, and that of the One who illuminates them. They are three performers, three characters who craft images in real time – images that are colourful, ablaze, radiant, like so many present moments destined to touch upon eternity.

Here, everything is analogue: the craftsmanship of a dance with magnetic expressiveness, atmospheric music born of a double turntable, and the exploration of imaginary worlds created by projectors and sheets of coloured transparent paper.

Straddling the line between poetry and a quest for the universal, this debut piece by Delphine Friquet springs from a fierce desire to heal the world’s wounds and a visceral need to touch beauty when we touch life.
