SHOUT TWICE - Katerina Andreou & Mélissa Guex

Electro bass sounds set the tempo: fast, deep and powerful. In the centre of the hall, in the dim light, stands a square platform, like a boxing ring. The audience surrounds it, whilst behind it, two control rooms exchange signals.

On stage, the two performers dance with a sense of urgency and insatiable desire. SHOUT TWICE is an experience at the crossroads of concert and performance, driven by the performers’ boundless energy, with its musical segments, its crescendos and its pauses. It is all about the liberating exhilaration carried by the sound – a rallying cry, the raw material of a performance that transforms the space, the listening experience and the bodies: the audience gradually allows itself to be swept away.

Mélissa Guex performed alongside Katerina Andreou in *Bless This Mess*, a group piece presented at the KVS during the Kunstenfestivaldesarts 2024. With this first creation as a duo, they are appearing at Les Brigittines for the first time.
